The line of succession outlines the pathway to the Gaplan throne, held by the Prince or Princess of the Danubias. It includes ten individuals. While the title is often linked to the Prince or Princess of Gaplastovia, the line is not limited to that office, as nobles from other states and municipalities may also appear in the line of succession. Currently, the Prince of Cristus is first in line to the throne.

This list is referred to in the event that the Sovereign Prince or Princess passes away, resigns, or becomes otherwise ineligible to serve. Under Gaplan law, the throne is never left vacant, and the individual next in line at the time of such an event automatically assumes the position. Once a new Sovereign is instated, the line of succession is updated in accordance with the rules and traditions of the Monarchy of Gapla.

Unlike many other systems, Gapla’s line of succession is flexible and may change over time due to various factors, including personal relationships or the birth of children among those in line.
